Julie Vaughan-Graham M.C.S.P., PT, M.Sc (cand); graduated from St. Thomas’ Hospital, London, England in 1986. Julie has worked in the area of neurorehabilitation since 1988, and has a special interest in the rehabilitation of the incomplete spinal cord injured individual. Julie emigrated to Toronto in 1991, initially taking a position at Lyndhurst, Spinal Cord Injury Centre, and then later opening her own private community neurorehabilitation practice, Physio-Logic, in Toronto in 1993.
Julie qualified as an IBITA Bobath Instructor in 2000 and as an Advanced IBITA Bobath Instructor in 2008. Julie is currently enrolled in an M.Sc. ‘The Bobath concept’ at Leeds Metropolitan University, Leeds, UK, and is in her final year completing her dissertation on ‘Clinical Reasoning and the Expert Bobath Therapist’.
Julie maintains a clinical caseload at her private practice in Toronto, and provides one on one clinical mentorship on a consult basis to physiotherapists and occupational theapists. Julie has a Status-only Instructor status with the University of Toronto. She instructs post-graduate clinical Bobath courses across Canada and Internationally. |
